


Best Local Transport Project Entry Criteria
The Best Local Transport Project will be awarded to a council that has delivered a groundbreaking local transport project that has carbon reduction embedded in its core. Nominees can submit entries across the wide range of local transport projects including public transport, active travel, placemaking and shared transport and any other projects that can demonstrate measurable and sustainable benefits to the community and the authority.
Entry criteria:

Name, role and organisation of nominee

Title of the project

Summary of the project including pre and post data and carbon impacts

Testimonials and references

Short description of the carbon benefits and any supporting data
The judges will be looking for the following:

Clear evidence that the scheme has made a positive impact

Innovations and methods that can be applied in different locations across the UK

The judges are also looking for evidence of the carbon impacts, with any pre and post project appraisal data that demonstrate carbon savings

Additionally, judges will be looking for applications which not only support carbon reduction, but which also provide sustainability benefits to the local community and the local authority
