Best Leadership in Local Government Award Entry Criteria

This special award will recognise the unwavering determination of local authority leaders who are leading the way in decarbonising transport. The award is open to nominees who have consistently made an outstanding contribution to transport decarbonisation, and who provide leadership and courage to make positive change in their role.

The judges will be looking for the following: 

 

• Examples of the nominee doing the extra things that makes for courageous leadership and going the extra mile to influence colleagues, peers and the wider industry 

• Evidence of consistent application of best practice 

• Testimonials illustrating a high level of regard amongst fellow employees 

• Details of training, awards and accolades 

• Membership of professional bodies and undertaking special initiatives 

• An influential career that has been built on implementing positive change, and evidence of influencing the wider industry
